Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on 1 October 1995 at Berkeley, California, USA. She is an acclaimed actress who was in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a household that includes actors and directors, worked in both areas. At the age of nine the actress made her acting debut in Sergio Cittis Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she played the lead role in the debut film of Cristina Comencini, Zoo (1988), and also was part of the cast of The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. In 1989, she was Nanni Moretti's (also directed) child in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is where Asia started to really become a household name. The film allowed her to progress from the roles of young girls into more complex, mature character. Cannes International Film Festival received the film well. She has made three films along with her father, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome, and Phantom of opera. The Phantom of the Opera The film, made together with her late father and is the final of three films she's worked on. The other two were Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni used her absorbed and intense manner of acting in the film Condannato a Nozze. Patrice Chereau helmed Queen Margot and she also played an important character. She worked again with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion in 1995, which earned her another David di Donatello, as in addition to an award from Grolla D'oro. Asia began her career in 1994 as a director, and produced two shorts: Prospettive (1996), a document on her father and her mother, as well as Abel/Asia (1998), a film about the cult film maker Abel Ferrara. The latter won an award from the Rome Film Festival. Asia's first feature length film debut was Scarlet Diva (2000) in 1999. In it, she acted as the lead actress and also wrote the screenplay. The film was released in May 2000 across Italy and the rest of the world. It was awarded a trophy in the Williamsburg International Film Festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou, the first of two daughters she has was born in January 2001. She was in 2002 on the screen as The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton alongside Jean-Marc Bar as well as the action-packed film directed in the film by Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia's short stories have also been featured in prestigious publications.
